Physician and Nursing Services

The Student Wellness & Counselling Centre offers non-urgent physical and mental health care to registered Memorial University students, undergraduate and postgraduate learners, as well as their spouses and children.

Any postgraduate learners registered with the NLMA who do not have a family physician may participate in the MDLink program.

Postgraduate learners who need a family physician should fill out the MDLink Family Physician Request Form.

Health Services During Clerkship Rotations

For learners participating in clinical rotations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, administrative program staff can provide information related to health care services. Contact information can be found here - Distributed Medical Education (DME) website.

New Brunswick  

For learners participating in clinical rotations in New Brunswick, there are Learner Well-Being and Success Directors located within each of the regions to provide ongoing support and management of any health related concerns. Learners registered with the New Brunswick Medical Society who do not have a family physician may participate in the MD4MD program by contacting Meagan Sibbett at (506) 875 6749, or the local NB Director for Learner Well Being and Success:
