MINC requirement

All learners participating in the R-1 Main Residency Match are required to include their Medical Identification Number for Canada (MINC) within their CaRMS Online application.

Learners can contact the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) to register for a future MCCQE1 examination.
Learners are not expected to write this exam for the purpose of the match but registering for it allows the MCC to provide them with a MINC as part of the process.
How can an applicant get a MINC?

March 9 - Rank Order Lists due!
March 22 - MATCH DAY!
