Policies, Procedures and Professionalism

There are a number of policies that learners should be aware of.

Professionalism

Learners are expected to behave in a manner appropriate to the medical profession. Since all Memorial medical learners are listed on the Educational Register of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Newfoundland & Labrador (CPSNL), learners are advised to review the ethics requirements of the College in addition to relevant policies of Memorial University and the Faculty of Medicine. Currently, the College has adopted in whole, the Code of Ethics of the Canadian Medical Association, which is available below.
