Job Description

Professor Guangju Zhai at Memorial University of Newfoundland https://www.med.mun.ca/medicine/home.aspx has an opening for an enthusiastic postdoctoral genetic epidemiologist to work on multi-omics study of osteoarthritis and other common disorders.  

Essential Functions:

·         Design of analytic methods for multi-omics integrative data analysis.

·         Application of statistical methods and bioinformatic tools to multi omics studies of osteoarthritis and other common disorders.

·         Preparation of manuscripts for peer reviewed publications.

·         Presentation of research at scientific meetings.

·         Engagement of grant application process.

Requirements

Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree in epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, or bioinformatics, as well as expertise in statistical programming. Research experience in multi-omics integrative analysis is strongly preferred and experience in musculoskeletal research is an asset.
