Dr. Bajzák is an Associate Professor at Memorial University in Newfoundland. Her general gynecology practice focuses on minimally invasive surgical procedures, chronic pelvic pain and the sexual health of those identifying as female. She recognizes and is an ally to those of diverse gender identities.  

Dr. Bajzák respectfully acknowledges her workplace as the ancestral homelands of the Beothuk and Mi’kmaq people. She also recognizes the Inuit of Nunatsiavut and NunatuKavut, and the Innu of Nitassinan, and their ancestors as the original people of Labrador.

Fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIG), she has served on the Board of the AAGL, the Editorial Board of the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, chaired the AAGL Research Committee and served on the Essentials of MIG Advisory Committee. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors of CANsage (Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence), and the Executive Committee of the Society of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology. 

Additionally, Dr. Bajzák served on the Board of the International Pelvic Pain Society and continues as Co-Chair of their International Liaison Committee. She has completed ASSECT approved Sex Therapy course work at the Florida Post-graduate Sex Therapy Training Institute and the Modern Institutes for Sex Therapy Training. She is a co-author of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada Female Sexual Health Consensus Clinical Guidelines and Chronic Pelvic Pain Consensus Clinical Guidelines.

Dr. Bajzak is the Clinical Research Director of the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial University.  As prior Resident Research Director, she organized resident research education and mentored all residents in their research.  In terms of her own research interests, Dr. Bajzak has collaborated on projects locally, nationally and internationally and her current research focus is vulvodynia (chronic vulvar pain).
