Vera Griffin Contingency Fund
This fund is named in honour of Vera Griffin’s commitment to medical learners well-being during her long career with the Student Affairs Office at the Faculty of Medicine (1974–2007).
This fund is intended to provide financial assistance to learner(s) in the doctor of medicine degree program when challenged with unexpected and exceptional circumstances. Learners may apply for these funds when they have exhausted all other resources. The amount of funds available each year is valued at a portion of the income on the endowment. The application form is available here.
