Peter Rogers

Emergency Medicine (Cross appointed with Family Medicine)
Dr. Rogers completed medical school at Memorial University in 2001 and then completed a Family Medicine Residency, followed by Emergency Medicine training at the University of Western Ontario. He has been practising as a full-time adult Emergency Physician in St. John's since 2004.
Dr. Rogers is the Program Director for the Emergency Medicine residency training program. He currently holds the rank of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine with Memorial University. As well, he is the Medical Director for Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Eastern Health.
His academic interests involve point-of-care ultrasound, simulation, and medical education. He is currently enrolled in a Masters of Medical Education through the University of Dundee.
His current research project is looking at the use of POCUS in rural Family Medicine residents.
