Peter Hollett

BMedSc, MD Memorial, FRCPC, ABNM




Born and raised here in St.John’s, Dr. Hollett graduated from Memorial’s School of Medicine in 1982. He completed his rotating internship in London, Ontario and then his residency in Nuclear Medicine in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He returned to practice here at MUN in 1987 and is currently the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Eastern Health.
He helped pioneer telenuclear medicine services between St.John’s, Gander and Corner Brook. He is currently a Professor of Radiology ( Nuclear Medicine ) at Memorial.
He is a past examiner in Nuclear Medicine for the Royal College and now sits on the Nuclear Medicine Nucleus committee.
He has been long active in the professional society, the Canadian Association of Nuclear Medicine, having sat on the board for over 10 years and is a past Chair of that organization.
He is married with 2 children and continues his passions of fly fishing and competitive curling.
