Biography

I am an extremely busy private practice urologist with a special interest in uro-oncology and surgical stone disease. My practice encompasses all aspects of adult urology. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University in 1983, receiving the gold medal for academic excellence. In 1985, I received a Bachelor of Medical Science from Memorial University. In 1987, I received my Doctor of Medicine from Memorial, completing a rotating internship in Newfoundland in 1987-88.

I completed specialty training through Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario in 1992 receiving Royal College Certification in Urology in 1992. I have been in full-time practice in St. John's ever since. Our group, Urology Consultants, carries out a variety of privately-funded research activities through our private office. Recent research areas have included erectile dysfunction, bladder overactivity, and phase III drug trials.
