Interprofessional Education (IPE) Coordinator

Donnamarie is the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Coordinator at the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education (CCHPE). She completed her graduate studies in public ethics with a focus on mental health and is committed to advancing team-based models of care. She is particularly interested in helping health professionals develop the collaborative and ethical skills needed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

She first joined CCHPE as a project coordinator, where she contributed to several interprofessional learning initiatives and supported faculty development projects across various health disciplines. Through this experience, she gained valuable insight into the needs of learners and educators alike, preparing her well for her transition into the IPE Coordinator role.

In her current position, Donnamarie is dedicated to creating meaningful curricular opportunities that expose learners to team-based care before they enter professional practice. As the province continues to focus on collaborative, team-based care, she believes strongly that interprofessional education is critical for developing health professionals who can work together effectively to improve patient outcomes.
