Scholarships
Scholarships and Awards for Undergraduate Medical Education learners are listed below.
Please note the following:
- They are grouped according to the competition round they are available, FALL and SPRING.
- The 'Eligible Class Years' column indicates which of the four UGME class years are eligible for each scholarship/award.
- Applications will only be accepted for scholarships and awards being selected during the current competition round. That is, you cannot apply for a spring scholarship or award during the fall semester, and vice versa. If your application is received at the wrong time, it will not be accepted and will have to be re-submitted during the correct semester.
- Application forms are required for scholarships or awards that have a PDF link in the ‘Application Form’ column.
- If an award’s ‘Submission Deadline’ column contains the text N/A, no application is required. These scholarships and awards are based on academics and learners will be automatically ranked for these awards.
- All application forms must be submitted to scholarshipsUGME@mun.ca by the indicated submission deadline.
- Submission deadlines are firm. Applications received after the date and time listed will not be considered.
