• To promote training and education of highly qualified personnel in the area of obesity research through local and national opportunities
• To increase awareness of obesity risk and management

• Biology of Obesity (nutrition, cell development, neural mechanisms and behaviour)
• Diseases associated with Obesity (stroke, cancer, cardiovascular disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease)
• Obesity Intervention and Prevention  (population health, interventions, education)
• Effects of diet on Health and Disease (brain health, fetal health)
