Previously Awarded Grants

Since 1992, the MRF has provided over 100 medical research grants totalling more than $2.5 million in research support. The MRF awards a number of research grants and awards each year which may include:

  • Research-Development Grants, small grants  to aid in the advancement of Faculty research programs. 
  • Project Grants, larger grants that support innovative proposals that have the potential to lead to the development of highly-productive and externally-funded research programs.
  • The Cox Award, granted to the top-ranked grant application in support of research excellence.
  • The EpilepsyNL grant. 
  • Other awards as the amount of donated funds permit.
