Robert Heale
Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology MD Memorial, FRCPCRadiology
Dr. Heale completed a Doctorate degree in neuroscience at the University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada in 1994. He then completed undergraduate medical education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1999, he pursued postgraduate training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Calgary, completing his residency in 2004. After completion of his residency, Dr. Heale continued on in Calgary to complete a one year Fellowship in Neuroradiology in 2004-2005.
Dr. Heale is currently a staff radiologist with the Diagnostic Imaging Program at Eastern Health, General Hospital site, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Radiology at Memorial University. In September 2009 Dr. Heale was appointed Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.
Dr. Heale is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and sits on their committee for Canadian Radiology Program Directors.
