Research Interests: Radiochemistry, Molecular Imaging, and Immuno-Therapy



The overarching focus of our research group is to bring to patients cutting edge diagnostic and therapy for Cancer, Neurodegenerative and Cardiac Diseases and in the process expose and train students and Nuclear Energy Workers (NEWs) to this exciting multidisciplinary field of radiopharmaceutical sciences. Our MUN and Eastern Health affiliation allows a unique access to state-of-the art equipment and the opportunity to conduct research with meaningful impacts for patients. The new Radiopharmaceutical Program and its team of multidisciplinary experts (engineer, radiochemist, radiopharmacist and radiologist) has for objective to implement translational research and medical care innovation in clinical setting.
Additionally, we are also committed to develop and evaluate potential basic science breakthrough for clinical as well as for industrial application.
