Medical Education in PEI

Memorial University’s regional campus on PEI will be hosted at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). Memorial’s team is engaging with Health PEI, the Government of PEI, PEI physicians and other key players in the development of a medical education community on the island.

Learners at the PEI regional campus will have the unique opportunity to complete the entirety of their undergraduate medical education program on PEI and graduate with a Memorial University Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Memorial University’s regional campus admits 20 PEI students each year, providing them with learning opportunities in their home province.
