The holistic approach of the Admission's Committee is designed to select the most qualified and suitable applicants. Academics are important, however, they are not the deciding factor in being offered an interview or being accepted to medical school. Applicants with strong academic performances and little or no experience in the other aspects of their application will not be considered for an interview.
