Adam Reid

Education Specialist
Adam brings many years experience in research, program design and evaluation to the table at CCHPE. He completed a Masters of Applied Social Psychology (Memorial University, 2009) and is currently completing a PhD in Community Health (Memorial University), in which he takes a multi-method, realist pragmatic approach to describe how working in interprofessional teams protects the wellbeing and experiences of primary health care professionals.
Adam has spent the past 13 years working with CCHPE to design, deliver and research interprofessional education and collaborative practice interventions in classroom and clinical settings. In the former positions of research coordinator (2012 – 2017), and then IPE coordinator (2017-2024), he’s had a hand in just about all the IPE activity taking place at Memorial for many years.
As Education Specialist, Adam’s current area of focus is professional development program curriculum to support interprofessional practice in Newfoundland and Labrador’s Family Care Teams. The end goal of this programming is to create and sustain a community of practice around interprofessional team-based primary care in the province.
