Research Interests
I do research on community-based entrepreneurship. My research focuses on socially responsible and ecologically sustainable aspects of community-based enterprises (CBEs). Most research works seek to answer why micro, small, and medium enterprises are crucial to community-level sustainability, and suggest how to practice them in the Anthropocene. For my research, I worked with communities in Canada, India, and Bangladesh. I am also a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), UK, in the Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries program. I am open to supervising doctoral research (in the fields of entrepreneurship and strategy) of aspirant scholars.
Teaching
I teach in the area of Entrepreneurship and Strategy. Frequently taught courses are: Strategic Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Development, Innovation Management, and International Business.
