Fall Semester Deadlines

  • First Year Students: March 1
  • Returning Students: April 1
  • CNA Student Deadline: May 1 (lottery draw)
  • Alternative Accommodations/ESA Applications: June 15 

    Academy Canada students are encouraged to look for off-campus accommodations for the Fall semester. Rooms may be available by mid-September.

Winter Semester Deadlines

All students should apply by November 1

Memorial University students are prioritized for acceptances. Students in-room during the Fall semester are not required to reapply for Winter.

Spring & Intersession Semester Deadlines

Grenfell Students registered to study for at least one course should apply to live with Student Housing during Spring & Intersession.
Application Deadline: April 1

All other students, including Grenfell students not registered to study and CNA/Academy Canada students requiring on-campus accommodations for Spring, should email gchousing@mun.ca for more information.

How to Successfully Apply for Student Housing

  1. Click here to complete the Student Housing application form: https://mun.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortal
  2. Pay the $20.00 non-refundable application fee
  3. All correspondence is sent to the email address used to login
  4. Upon receiving your Offer of Accommodations you will be given a three (3) week period to pay a $500 confirmation fee to reserve your room space for the Fall semester. There is no confirmation fee required for Winter, Spring, or Intersession.
