Winter semester break begins on February 24 at Grenfell Campus. Here are some activities and events that students may be interested in:

Corner Brook Winter Carnival

The annual Corner Brook Winter Carnival will take place from Friday, February 21 to Sunday, March 2. Click here to visit their website and see the schedule of events for 2025.

 

Winter Wellness Fest

The Community Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) is hosting a Winter Wellness Fest at the Corner Brook Civic Center on Wednesday, February 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, and all are welcome! A Night of Black Excellence

The Grenfell Campus Black Student Caucus is hosting this event as part of Black History Month.

Date: March 1, 6:00 p.m.

Location: Arts and Culture Centre

This grand showcase of black culture will feature food, art, and live performances. The event is free for students, and registration is required. Register here.

 

Grenfell Campus Recreation

All recreational activities will still be taking place throughout the winter semester break at the Annex. Click here for the February schedule. The March schedule will be posted next week.

 

Marble Mountain Ski Trip

In March, there will be a ski trip to Marble Mountain for Grenfell students. All information will be sent out following the winter semester break. Students can check their MUN emails and Grenfell Campus social media for updates.
