Take The Shuttle to Get Your Groceries
Meet at Roundabout
This free grocery shuttle will transport you from Grenfell Campus to Murphy Square and Sobeys with a return to campus. The first shuttle will leave at 11:00 and the last will shuttle will return at 3:00. The shuttle will operate in 30 minute intervals.

Man in the Mountain
OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS
This popular uphill hiking trail has one of the best views of the Humber Valley river close to the Corner Brook area. We will only hike the first peak, which can take a total of 2 hours and it can be a bit challenging for some, but the view is worth it. If you want to participate in the hike, send an email to gcinternational@mun.ca. There will be 20 spots available. Dress according to the weather.

Get Messy at Grenfell’s Splash of Colour Run

The most colourful three kilometres in Corner Brook will be at Grenfell Campus this fall! Join us for our non-competitive, fun run, that requires only your enthusiasm for running through a rainbow of colours (we’ll provide the white t-shirts and sunglasses)
The route will be 3 complete loops around Grenfell Campus, with the start/finish line outside the Arts & Science Atrium (Each runner will be required to complete a waiver prior to the race).
Join us at the finish line for a group photo and refreshments!

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Event

Please join us for an event to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day of reflection on the legacy of residential schools that stems from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #80. It also coincides with Orange Shirt Day, an Indigenous-led grassroots initiative raising awareness of the individual, family and community intergenerational impacts of residential schools. Please join today’s events on campus, beginning with a flag-raising at 11:00 am followed by a walk

On the 29th we are collaborating with Grenfell’s Indigenous Resource Centre to support a beautiful POW WOW event that will take place on Campus and present unique workshops from our Anchor Act TUPIQ A.C.T., Inuit Circus from Montreal. Mark your calendars for this spectacular event and experience the wonder of CB Nuit.

Our 2024 festival will be guided by the theme: SPIRAL ~ Our theme this year invites inward and outward journeys for artists to explore. SPIRAL provides the flexibility to invite a more personal exploration as well as a lighter and fun exploration; one that can be taken literally or metaphorically.
