Dates:
There are three intakes per year for the Intensive English Program and Intensive English Bridge Program at Grenfell:
- Fall Semester (September to December) – available in-person and online
- Winter Semester (January to April) – available in-person and online
- Summer Session (6.5 week session from late June to mid-August) – available in-person at Grenfell Campus only
Students should consider the following factors when estimating when they will be able to begin their in-person study with us:
Degree program application processing times: A student applying to IEP-G or IEBP-G will need to have a decision on their degree program application in order to receive a decision (and associated letters) related to their eligibility for IEP/IEBP-G. There is information about processing times for undergraduate degree program applications at the following link. Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) processing times: A student who requires a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) to submit with their study permit/visa application should consider the timeline implications of requesting and receiving such a letter. Study permit application processing times: A student who requires a study permit/visa should consider the timeline implications of the study permit application process. Students can check processing times through the Department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada at the following link: Check processing times - Canada.ca

Deposit fee for IEBP-G students should be paid promptly. Submission of the deposit is required to move through the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) request process.
Deposit fee for IEP-G students should be paid 4 weeks prior to the first day of classes (This deposit will go towards the payment of the total fees applied to your student account.) |

Students studying in-person should also budget approximately $1500 per semester for groceries.
Students studying in-person in IEP/IEBP-G are eligible to live on-campus but must follow all associated procedures with requesting and confirming student accommodations. More information (including cost) is available on the Grenfell Student Housing page.
Students may be required to purchase class-related materials and can budget approximately $350 (for IEP students) and $400-$500 (for IEBP-G students) per semester.
