Walkie Talkies

Kick off Thrive Week with a little fresh air and friendly conversation! Join Grenfell Counsellor, Jennifer Broadbent and Librarian, Chelsea Humphries for Walkie Talkies — a casual 30-minute walk (or wheel)-and-chat designed to help you move, connect, and recharge as we head deeper into the fall semester. No agenda, no stress — just good company, good conversation, and a quick wellness boost for your mind and body. 

All abilities welcome! Bring a coat; this will take place outside if weather permits (with an alternate indoor location if needed). Slow down, step outside, and start Thrive Week on the right foot.

Self Defense Class

Join us on Tuesday, November 4th for an empowering Self-Defense Class led by a skilled facilitator from Anchor Combat Academy. Learn practical techniques to increase your confidence, awareness, and personal safety in a supportive and inclusive environment. Introduction to Zotero Workshop

Stress less by learning how to manage multiple sources and create well-formatted citations with ease using the popular, free citation management tool Zotero. This session is intended for those who are brand new to citation management software. Please bring your own computing device.
