Grenfell Campus is marking 50 years and we invite you to help us celebrate! We're excited to join Memorial as we also honour the sacrifices of the past with the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Archives and Special Collections Grand Opening & High Tea Reception: Oct. 17, 4 6pm
Location: Ferriss Hodgett Library
Join us to officially celebrate the Grenfell Campus Archives and Special Collections. Learn about the treasures in our archives and rare book room, like the Bowater oral history collection and Sir Wilfred Grenfell collection, and recently acquired Lundrigan collection. Donated by the late Arthur Raymond Lundrigan, our "Lundrigan Room" houses his Newfoundland & Labrador book collection and historical maps of the province from 1556 to 1879. Take an exclusive behind the scenes tour and enjoy a high tea reception.
50 Years of Amazing Grenfell Adventures: In 10 Anecdotes!: Oct. 29, 3:30 p.m.

Dr. Geoff Rayner-Canham, Professor Emeritus, started at Grenfell 50 years ago, and has been the recipient of National Awards for excellence in each of: Teaching, Outreach, and Research. During this PowerPoint visual feast, he will take the audience back in time and space to enjoy his past and continuing adventures. These adventures have involved some amazing Grenfell students; the dedicated staff and the supportive faculty & administrators at Grenfell; and his co-researcher, Marelene Rayner-Canham.
Not by Accident but by Design: A History of Grenfell Campus, Oct. 30 12:30 p.m.

We’re also proud to officially kick-off the 50th anniversary scholarship fund.

Celebrating the past, investing in the future.
Grenfell Campus is turning 50! To mark the milestone, we’re launching a scholarship fundraising campaign to support the next generation of students. We're calling on alumni, retirees, faculty, staff, and friends to join us.
50th anniversary CBC Morning Show series
Tune into CBC Radio Wednesday mornings at 8:10 a.m. until mid- September to hear a series of interviews that cover a wide range of initiatives and activities on campus. If you miss an episode, don’t worry—CBC will have some of them available online too.
