Jonny Harris

Graduating Year: 1998

has appeared regularly at The Halifax Comedy Festival, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, at Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival and on CBC Radio's The Debaters. Staff writer for the award-winning This Hour has 22 Minutes and contributing writer and star of Mary Walsh's Hatching, Matching and Dispatching. Member of St. John's sketch comedy troupe 'The Dance Party of Newfoundland'. Attended the 2010 Sundance Film Festival with the feature film Grown Up Movie Star. Currently plays Constable George Crabtree on CBC's, The Murdoch Mysteries, for which he has garnered two Gemini nominations for best supporting-lead in a dramatic series. His stand-up special for Comedy Now! earned him a Canadian Screen Award nomination and can be seen at the Comedy Network website.

from Burin, NL. She maintained a career in Acting for ten steady years. Her acting career led her to Rising Tide Theatre where she met and formed with the multi award winning band, The Once.

lives in St. John's where she directs, performs in and produces theatre for a living. She has been Artistic Associate for RCA Theatre Company since 2008, but also works with other companies whenever she has the chance.

Designer Newfoundland band Hey Rosetta! as well as The St. John's International Women's Film Festival. Recurring cast member of CBC's Republic of Doyle and Showcase's Lost Girl.

Artistic Director of C2C Theatre in St. John's. Actor, director, producer and musician, who has worked with Artistic Fraud of Newfoundland, Rising Tide Theatre, Theatre Newfoundland Labrador, The Arts and Culture Centre, and the Resource Centre of the Arts.

Currently pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting from York University and, in 2012, her stage play Kingdom received its first professional production with White Rooster Theatre. Lead in the award-winning film Crackie.

Actor/writer from Central Newfoundland. Performed across Newfoundland, Florida, PEI and Calgary. Current works in progress include a web-series (Trepassey Junior High), a new stage play (Benediction) and a television pilot (The Storys) that has garnered network interest from Showcase.

Graduating Year: 1994

Deidre Gillard Rowlings, as part of Grenfell's third graduating class, received her BFA in 1994. The class then went on to create Bare Boards Theatre, a company still going strong with 11 shows under its belt. She has toured across Canada, throughout The UK, Australia, and The US with Theatre Newfoundland Labrador's production of Tempting Providence, by Robert Chafe. She's worked with theatre companies all across the country, recently completing her first contract at The Stratford Festival. She is currently working on Alice Through the Looking Glass at The National Arts Centre, directed by Jillian Keiley.
