Analyst

Maksym Mekhanik is a second-year Bachelor of Business Administration student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, pursuing his studies with a focus on finance, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. He is an Analyst with The Fund at Memorial, where he conducts equity research and prepares position reviews to support the management of a $410,000 portfolio.

Maksym is passionate about finance, investment research, and entrepreneurship. Alongside his academic journey, he is the founder and owner of MekhScape Landscaping and Snow Removal Services, a growing small business in St. John’s that provides year-round property care to residential and commercial clients.

He is a driven, community-oriented individual who brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to every opportunity. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Maksym is interested in business development, technology, and creative problem-solving, continuously seeking ways to combine practical experience with academic learning to create long-term value.
