Memorial's MBA program is designed to be flexible and accessible while ensuring high-academic standards and real-world relevance.

The MBA program is made up of 20 courses to be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. Our MBA program is offered on campus in St. John’s and is not available online.

Required courses include business ethics, leadership skills and international business as well as business fundamentals such as economics, finance, accounting, organizational behaviour, operations management, statistics, marketing, information systems, human resources and strategic management.

Students can focus their studies through electives, including up to two graduate courses from other faculties, and self-directed, faculty supervised research projects. One elective must be a designated course in any area of international business.

Exemptions
Applicants who have completed relevant coursework (for academic credit) in business, economics and statistics may be exempt from up to ten courses (30 credit hours) in the MBA program. Applicants must have achieved a grade of 75 per cent or higher in the relevant equivalent undergraduate courses, and normally have completed them within seven years from the year in which they are seeking admission to the MBA program. Transcript evaluations are completed by the MBA Office.
