Get involved
At the Faculty of Business Administration, we’re proud of our strong alumni relationships. If you’d like to get more involved, here are some ways you can do so.
Advisory board
The advisory board of the Faculty of Business Administration provides high-level, strategic advice to the dean and senior management as well as to Memorial University's president, vice-president (academic) and vice-president (research) regarding business developments and faculty activities.
If you’re interested in serving on our advisory board, contact deanfba@mun.ca.
Associates Program
The Associates Program is your opportunity to have real impact on and enhance the learning experiences of today’s business students. This membership-based program directly benefits students by funding scholarships, supporting participation in conferences and business competitions, and enabling participation in other activities that better prepare them to be innovative thinkers and leaders.
Associates Program members are Newfoundland and Labrador’s top business and management leaders who are also the province’s leading employers.
Become a mentor
Embark, our career and success portal for business students, offers Mentoring Circles each semester in partnership with the Cenovus Centre of Excellence in Sales and Supply Chain Management.
Mentors share their professional experiences and insights with business students and engage in small-group discussions. Click here to learn more about becoming a mentor.
Guest speakers
Alumni add value to our classrooms by speaking to our students about their career experiences and offering professional insights in diverse fields of business. If you’d interested in speaking with our students, contact a faculty member about current opportunities they may have available. Review the academic disciplines in which our faculty members teach and research here.
Hire a student
Students from our Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) program offer a diverse array of skills and abilities to employers. They can assist employers of all sizes and industries with a variety of management related tasks, including developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing finances, accounts or human resources, and using and developing information systems.
To learn more about hiring a co-op student, email jdrodge@mun.ca.
Embark also offers an exclusive job board for business students and recent graduates. Employers may post non-co-op related employment opportunities here.
