Personal Profile
Dr. Philip Piercey’s teaching and research specializes in entrepreneurship and innovation topics.
His research is concerned with the social interactions that animate and propel entrepreneurship and innovation within geographic contexts. His current research interests include the geography of innovation modes; event-based perspectives of entrepreneurial ecosystem evolution; and advice co-creation processes for nascent entrepreneurs.
Dr. Piercey’s research has appeared in Technological Forecasting and Social Change. He has presented at the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference and the Academy of Management Annual Meeting.
