Graduate diploma in business administration (GDBA)

This five-course program is designed to deliver crucial management skills through relevant course offerings for working professionals who have at least five years of work experience.
Master of business administration (MBA)
Whether you want to advance your career, make a career switch or start your own business, check out Memorial’s MBA program. Our MBA program focuses on developing decision-makers competent in all areas of business administration. We offer an internationally-accredited program with a curriculum that delivers the business fundamentals and skills to help you succeed locally, nationally and globally .

Master of business administration in social enterprise and entrepreneurship (MBA-SEE)
Memorial’s 12-month MBA-SEE is the only MBA program in Canada purposefully designed to prepare students to become a new kind of leader for a new way of doing business – one that is based on the three pillars of sustainability: people, planet, and profits.
With a focus on preparing business leaders who are committed to sustainable and social business practices, and the practical experience of a four-month internship, the MBA-SEE allows students to gain business skills through the lens of sustainable and social enterprise and develop the necessary skills to present sustainable thinking to business leaders and funders. Every course helps students develop a keen understanding of the strategic context of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship. Students enter the MBA-SEE as part of a cohort, providing them with a shared experience that develops and solidifies a professional network to last a lifetime.
Master of employment relations (MER)
Memorial’s MER offers a joint degree program that features perspectives from both the faculties of business and humanities and social sciences. Our MER program will help you to effectively manage the relationships at your organization, providing advanced-level study of all aspects of the employment relationship as well as insight into the history and sociology of work cultures.
Master of science (M.Sc.) in management
Memorial offers the only M.Sc. in management in Atlantic Canada. This research-focused program will help you develop rigorous research skills suitable to careers in academia or in the public, private or non-profit sectors. You’ll develop an important and versatile skillset that also prepares you to enter a PhD in management program at the Faculty of Business Administration or elsewhere.
Our PhD program prepares students for research and teaching careers in academia as well as research-oriented positions in industry.
Students complete two years of coursework exploring state-of-the-art research in their selected area of study. They also undertake an independent research project during the first summer and a comprehensive examination after coursework is completed.
Students are then ready to undertake independent, original research during the dissertation to make a significant contribution to knowledge in their fields of study.
