Analyst

Nangyal Rehman is a Bachelor of Commerce student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, specializing in Finance with an expected graduation in Spring 2027. With a prior background in civil engineering, he leverages strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills to pursue a career
in finance.

He is in his first year with The Fund and looks forward to contributing to equity research and investment discussions while further developing his valuation and modeling skills under the guidance of industry mentors.

Professionally, Nangyal has gained diverse experience through internships with the Canadian Coast Guard, PCL Construction in Halifax and Vancouver, and Pennecon Limited. Across these roles, he contributed to financial reporting, asset lifecycle analysis, cost estimation, and stakeholder coordination
on multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects. His work consistently emphasized accuracy, efficiency, and clear communication, skills he now applies toward financial analysis and business decision-making.

Outside of academics and professional work, Nangyal is passionate about fitness and competitive sports. He is an avid weightlifter, basketball player, and martial artist, and enjoys travel, surfing, and language learning.
