Enhanced learning
Our students have many opportunities to apply their classroom learning while contributing to organizations they value and also gaining practical skills and knowledge towards building successful careers.
Examples include:
- Enactus Memorial: an award-winning, student-run organization that uses business principles to build community projects that positively impact the lives of individuals. Enactus Memorial is one of the most successful Enactus teams in Canada, having won the national championship 10 times and twice winning the world cup.
- The Fund: learn how to make real-world investment decisions – with real money! The Fund is a student-managed investment portfolio open to all Memorial University students.
- Gardiner Centre: graduate students may avail Gardiner Centre’s award-winning professional development training with one free seat reserved in each of its short courses (1-2 days duration).

The Insight Business Consulting Program matches startup companies with MBA students to assist with projects. The program provides companies with creative solutions, new insights, knowledge and resources. Students gain real-world experience and industry connections.
- Competitions: Our students regularly achieve success in national and international case and other competitions. Check out some recent achievements:

Memorial University is also the most successful team in the history of the John Molson MBA International Case Competition. Our students have won the Concordia Cup five times.
