Tom is President of Wedgwood Insurance in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and is Chief Operating Office for The Magnes Group, located in Oakville, Ontario.  Wedgwood and Magnes are companies with common ownership specializing in commercial and personal property casualty insurance as with specialties in Professional Liability, Construction, Aviation and Private Client Coverage as well as International Business though our partnership with Assurex Global.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University and holds the Certified Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada. Tom has been President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Newfoundland and a board member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada. He has also served as President of the Business Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Commodore of the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club and is currently Chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Symphony Orchestra Association.
