Travis Noel is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, majoring in Finance. He has received Dean’s List honors for two consecutive years, reflecting his commitment to learning and academic success.

Since joining The Fund in 2024, Travis has progressed from Junior Analyst to Analyst and now serves as a Sector Manager for the student-led investment portfolio. In this role, he leads a team of analysts in conducting equity research, building valuation models, and preparing investment pitch decks.

Travis also brings professional experience from his internships at Provident10, where he works on the investments team responsible for managing the pension fund’s $13 billion portfolio. His responsibilities include analyzing portfolio exposures across equities and fixed income, evaluating private equity and emerging market opportunities, and supporting strategic asset allocation through actuarial and financial modeling. Travis also contributes to due diligence efforts, developing DCF and DCM models, and assisting in the production of performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.

In addition to his professional experience, Travis serves as the Financial Representative for the Commerce Class of 2027 Student Council, where he oversees budgeting and investment of the council’s capital in preparation for graduation events.

Travis is passionate about financial markets and plans to pursue his CFA designation upon graduation, with the goal of building a career in capital markets. Outside of academics, he enjoys weightlifting, golfing, hiking, and reading.
