Maxwell Stockley
Analyst
Maxwell Stockley is a third-year joint Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) and Bachelor of Arts student who is set to graduate in 2027. He is completing a major in criminology along with concentrations in accounting and finance. As Maxwell’s first year with The Fund, he hopes to learn more about capital markets and gain a solid understanding of valuation measures.
Maxwell’s academic interests include the macrodeterminants of financial crime and how accountability and transparency frameworks within organizations mitigate such occurrences. Maxwell is committing his career to bring morality back into business.
Outside of The Fund, Maxwell works as a teaching assistant for BUSI 2205: Introduction to Marketing and has served a term on the ADUA Student Advisory Board, bridging the gap between BComm students and faculty to curate exceptional business education.
In his free time, Maxwell works as a Cashier Supervisor and Cash Office Clerk in the grocery sector. He volunteers with organizations such as Friendship Circle NL and the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Maxwell plays many instruments and loves to read.
After convocation, Maxwell plans to obtain his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, along with Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations. Maxwell intends to work in the finance industry analyzing risk associated with financial crime.
