Personal Profile
Dr. Lorne M. Sulsky is a professor of human resource management (HRM) and organizational behaviour (OB). Obtaining his doctor of philosophy (PhD) in 1988, he has previously held academic appointments at four other universities and has consulted widely with international organizations in the broad area of HRM. He previously served as the director of HRM for a non-profit agency.
Dr. Sulsky has published and presented numerous papers in the area of performance management and is the co-author of the Sulsky and Smith (2005) text entitled Work Stress. He is past editor of the Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science, and currently serves on the editorial boards of five academic journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Human Performance. He is currently the editorial statistical consultant for the Canadian Journal of Administrative Science.
