Judy Cumby

Judy Cumby is an associate professor with the Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University, where she has taught since 1988. Prof. Cumby teaches professional development courses for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador; is a student facilitator and session leader in the national Chartered Professional Accountant program; and is a technical reviewer of learning units for Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Prof. Cumby has published a number of accounting cases in various editions of Intermediate Accounting, Beechy, Conrod, Farrell, and McLeod-Dick, McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited. Her research and teaching interests are focused on international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE).
