Dr. Andrea Stapleton received her PhD in accounting from the University of Waterloo in 2020. Prior to joining the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Stapleton, a Certified Management Accountant, obtained a BA (Honours) and BBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Dr. Stapleton’s research interests include managers’ and investors’
judgment and decision-making in an accounting setting with a focus on the impact of personality traits and decision-making biases. Consistent with her research, Dr. Stapleton’s teaching interests include management and cost accounting.
