Barnard Construction Corporation

Fifty years in business—a milestone Tim Barnard only dreamt of as a 25-year-old contractor. He didn’t have much, but he knew his company could thrive if he looked at things differently. One of his best decisions was investing in people first. From the beginning, he learned that trusting people and empowering them to lead had a big impact on a project’s success.

Fifty years later, our people are still our greatest asset. On each project, we find new ways to make even the simplest tasks safer, of higher quality, and more efficient. These seemingly small decisions add up over time and lead to projects that make our clients and communities proud. Every employee brings something unique to our culture, but we all have one thing in common: we’re relentless.

Construction & Expertise PG

Founded in 2006 by Pierre Gouslisty, Construction & Expertise PG was created following the closure of the company he had worked at for over a decade. In the early days, Construction & Expertise PG welcomed employees and worked on contracts in the basement of the founder's family home. Seeing that the company was set to grow rapidly, it officially moved to Dorval, close to the airport. However, in 2014, the company decided to move its head office to the new Beauharnois industrial park to improve the quality of life for its employees.

From the beginning of the PG adventure, the team has been active on the North Shore and in Labrador due to the large number of mining companies. Given the company's rapid growth, Construction & Expertise PG opened an office in Sept-Îles in 2012 and one in Wabush in 2016.

Today, Construction & Expertise PG has more than 400 employees across Canada who are affectionately known as : The PG family!
