Memorial's Online Record of Experience (MORE)

Memorial’s Online Record of Experience (MORE) is a new experiential tracking tool that provides students with the ability to record and capture their various co-curricular experiences.

Your university experience should be one of self-exploration. While academics will always be one of the key components of university life, it is equally important to use your time here to build your practical experience, explore as many things as possible, understand what was learnt and apply what was learnt to future endeavours.

To help you better engage, explore, and gain experiences, Student Life has created an experiential tracking tool.

Memorial’s Online Record of Experience (MORE) is a new experiential tracking tool that provides students with the ability to record and capture their various co-curricular experiences. MORE compiles those experiences and showcases overall time committed, and competencies gained from participation. More than simply a record of student involvement or student activities, MORE uses reflection to transform activities into deeper learning experiences.

By using MORE, students will be able to:

  • Catalogue their experiences;
  • Recognize specific competencies they’ve gained;
  • Quantify their experiences by time and competency development; and
  • Share those competencies and experiences with various academic and professional stakeholders (such as on LinkedIn)

All experiences listed in MORE will include learning outcomes, reflection, and competency development.
