Things to do during your first week

Your first weeks are always exciting, and we're here to help you navigate your way and ensure you're set for success.

Make sure you:

• Experience Fall Welcome
• Get a campus card
• Pay fees
• Get wifi
  
• Rent a locker
• Opt-out of the health insurance plan
• Buy books

Follow these steps to get a campus card:

1: Take a picture, or scan, a piece of government-issued photo ID, so that we can verify your identity. You’ll need this when you submit your request.
2: Login to my.mun.ca
3: Navigate to the Students tab.
4: Click the Launch button in the orange Student Services box.
5: Select the Request a Card button
6: Request your card as a distance student (check the “not on St. John’s campus” option)
7: Follow the instructions on each screen.

Fall Welcome: Your go-to for all things Memorial

Your transition into university life begins with Fall Welcome events and continues throughout your first year. Your first week will be especially active with resource fairs, campus tours and many special events across campus designed to welcome you to the university community.

here are 10 things students should know about the libraries on campus.

Just ask 

If you need help, information or directions, please just ASK. 

Look for the "Ask Me" stickers and "Ask Here" signs around campus to find some especially helpful people who are eager to answer your questions.

But even if you don't see a sticker or sign, know that we're here to help answer your questions and support you in any way we can.
