Coaching for Leadership Development

Coaches provide a safe, challenging development space for individuals to consider and strategize for the achievement of personal goals. Participants will be provided with an orientation to what coaching is, how to work with a coach, and the intention of coaching for this leadership program. Each student will utilize four to five1-hour sessions with their coach throughout the program.

Additional Information on the Cornerstone Leadership Project

Working in assigned groups, and with the support and guidance of the program leaders, participants will choose a leadership project. The project guidelines are introduced during the Fall semester orientation and are integrated into the Fall semester workshops. The goal of the Cornerstone Project is to further enhance each participant’s leadership skills by applying them to a real-world scenario. (Note: The Leadership Application Project may not be used to receive academic credit)
