Cisco Webex

When we must socially distance ourselves from others, we need to be creative in the ways we can gather virtually. Webex is the trusted platform of Memorial University to host online events and meetings. Now student groups can request access to a Memorial Webex account. Booking Spaces on Campus

There are many spaces available at Memorial University’s main campus in St. John’s for Clubs & Societies to book. In addition to the various spaces that the MUN Students’ Union offers for bookings, there are spaces to be reserved in virtually any building.

For inquires about non-MUNSU spaces in the University Centre (UC), email aorooms@mun.ca. 

To book spaces such as the Main Dining Hall, Junior Common Room, Bruneau Centre (IIC), etc., email meet@mun.ca. 

If you need help securing space, contact ask@mun.ca.

Event Volunteers

If your event requires assistance from some super volunteers, look no further than the Student Volunteer Bureau. The SVB promotes volunteerism at MUN and throughout the broader community. There are always students looking to volunteer and lend a hand. Contact them at svb@mun.ca to get your event on their weekly listserv.

Promotion

In addition to your club or society’s promotion through their social media channels, your respective student union and the university will assist in promoting your event*. If you have an event coming up that you would like to see promoted, email us here.

Technology

There are many reasons why you would want access to technologies during your events. A projector for a presentation, a microphone for a speaker, etc. These are some of the many things you can rent for your event at the Centre for Teaching and Learning.
