Abstract

This principal objective of this project is to develop a cross-platform survey system which could help the researchers with data collecting and analyzing as well as the participants to access and finish the surveys easily. With the development of Internet technology over the years, online survey has become more and more popular. However, the majority of the online surveys nowadays are dedicated for computer users, which might be not welcomed by mobile device participants, for the lack of convenience to read and interactive design. So the demand of mobile friendly survey system design is soaring. There is also an obvious trend that websites are taking more mobile devices aimed design into consideration.

This seminar will discuss the basic concepts of online survey and mobile friendly application development, detailing the requirements of the system and the issues encountered in the development process.
