The Gong Show is a fun competition that challenges students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members to describe their science in a way that anyone can understand, or in other words, jargon-free, and in three minutes or less.

The gong show is open to the public- please tell your friends and family!

The maximum size for posters is 4 ft x 4 ft (120 cm x 120 cm).

10 min presentation followed by a 5min question and answer period.

The conference is a multi-session event happening over two days with many opportunities to present. We believe we will be able to accommodate a student's first choice. However, if, for some reason, we are unable to, we will reach out to the student to determine their second choice.
