Co-operative Education

Co-op education is at the forefront in experiential learning at Memorial University.

The university's highly successful programs offer a combination of classroom study and work term placements in local, national and international businesses and organizations. The goal is to fuse academic knowledge with practical experience, creating highly qualified and knowledgeable professionals prepared to meet the demands of today’s workforce.

The Master of Applied Psychological Science (MAPS) in the Department of Psychology and the Master of Science (Computer Science) in the Department of Computer Science are co-operative graduate level programs in the Faculty of Science. Co-operative graduate degrees are also available in the interdisciplinary programs of Scientific Computing (formerly Computational Science) and Environmental Science offered by the Faculty of Science.
