DUTIES

The successful applicants will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the summer camp and ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive environment for all participants. 

Duties include supervising children throughout camp activities; organizing and leading recreational and educational activities to keep participants engaged; ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times; supporting lab-based or structured learning sessions; coordinating the pick-up and drop-off of participants; and working collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a smooth and enjoyable camp experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants must be current undergraduate students with preference given to those in the Faculty of Science or related fields. 
• Previous experience working with children is considered an asset.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.
• First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hiring. 

POSITION DETAILS

Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly pay: $19
