Engineering as a Caring Profession

Engineering is a caring profession and engineers have always been connected to the communities they serve.

To build these types of connections and learn about the communities in which they will practice, engineering students have been completing work terms with community groups and not-for-profit organizations. These experiences have been helping the students gain technical skills while learning to appreciate the role that engineers play in the protection of the public and the environment.
