Services to Help Guide Your Student
These services are available every semester to support our students.
MUN 101 - is Memorial’s early orientation and transition program delivered online to help first-year undergraduate students prepare for university life, become involved in the community, and get set for success. It is delivered in Brightspace, Memorial’s learning management system, to help students get acquainted with many of the tools and resources you’ll be using when you officially start their degree program. It only takes an hour for students to complete MUN 101 – please encourage them to do so.
Orientation Day - This is the day your student starts their university journey. Mark your student’s calendar for Orientation Day, where exciting adventures, new friendships and endless opportunities await. Stay Connected
It's important to stay connected with them, offering a listening ear and reassurance as they navigate new challenges and opportunities. Remind them that it's okay to seek help, whether through ACADEMIC ADVISING, COUNSELLING SERVICES, or HELP CENTRES. By fostering open communication and promoting a balanced approach to their studies and social life, you can help your student build the confidence and resilience they need to thrive in this new chapter of their lives.
